Ben has had an interesting life, using pure and applied Mathematics to solve complex problems. His PhD focused on the study of gravitational singularities via geometry at ANU. As a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Otago in New Zealand his research projects had noteworthy accomplishments for both classical and quantum physics, as well as the abstract study of geometry. He has also worked as a Management Consultant for an international firm of accountants.
At NetActuary, we are delighted that Ben is re-orientating his mathematical and software skills towards actuarial science. Initially, he will be a Consultant in international pension transfer services. This is an area where few firms are developing the computational models needed to optimize the trade-offs involved in the different benefit access options and the all-important tax minimization strategies. Ben can be contacted by email firstname.lastname@example.org or by ‘phone on (03) 6223 2320.
