NetActuary is delighted to welcome Ken as a consultant. Ken expects to submit his PhD thesis in Actuarial Studies within the next few months. His research has been in Risk Theory and related areas. Ken will specialize in general insurance consulting tasks – with a particular focus on Australian workers’ compensation tasks. If your 30 June 2016 liability quantification is not yet completed, or you would like insight into how much of the outcome is due to pure variability, please give Ken a call on (03) 6223 2320 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
NetActuary has analysed the changes to the South Australian Return to Work legislation and the Queensland Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act in some depth. We would particularly value working with self-insurers in these two jurisdictions. Once the year end work is complete, businesses that employ staff across a number of states may be interested in self-insuring under the Comcare Scheme rather than having to comply with up to six different workers’ compensation and WHS regulatory schemes.
Ken has very strong analysis and problem solving skills – including experience in data mining and using R, VBA, C++ and Matlab.
