For a while I have been involved in the development of a retirement planning calculator. We have finally developed a prototype. This prototype can be found at https://draftfinplancalc.com/.

My colleague and co-researcher at the Australian National University, Dr Adam Butt has made a post on his blog about the calculator. His post can be found at https://adambuttactuary.wordpress.com/2016/08/12/financial-planning/. Essentially, if you would like to read more about the calculator his post is a good starting point, where he has summed up the calculator in a very succinct manner.

This post is a request to the followers of this blog to try out the calculator and provide feedback to us. The main purpose of the calculator is collect all the feedback we can, so that we can improve the calculator and make it viable to the entire Australian population.

We look forward to your feedback.
